The central location makes the journey to the Andermatt holiday region short and pleasant for guests from north, south, east and west. From Zurich and Lugano, the holiday region Andermatt can be reached after only one and a half to two hours of travel time. Those who arrive with their own car leave the motorway in Göschenen and arrive to Andermatt from there in ten minutes. Those who travel by train take the Gotthard express train that runs every hour to Göschenen and change there to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. The narrow-gauge railway has regular connections to the SBB timetable and takes guests to Andermatt in ten minutes.
